EDF Gas & Elec Final Bill - Problems

Hello, i'm new to this site, just recived my final bill from EDF .... we are switching to E-on....

we pay £93 a month for the last 20 months (since moving into the property)

there is just me and my partner in a 3 bed semi.....

The bill says:

account balance before this bill: £227.42 cr

your electric charge for this bill £158.26

your gas charges for this bill £304.06

your discount and surcharges £30.69 cr

total vat £21.58

your new account balance £225.79

WHY ???

It says at the bottom that the VAT is on £431.63 @ 5% = £21.58

Also the elec charges are £158.26 for 18 jan 11 - 31 may 11

and the gas charges are 304.06 for 18 jan 11 - 01 jun 11

Please help me

how can it when I'm in credit ? £93 per month....

2 people live in house and are both out from 8am till 6pm.... no elec used during the day and little used at night except normal domestic appliances....

they are estimating the final bill i think....

Also the £304.06 and £158.26 = 462.32 is the cost of both gas and elec for the duration of January to June 2011 so why am i getting charged for this again minus my credit of £227.42 ????

Are the start and end readings on the bill A(ctuals) or E(stimates)? If the start readings are Es and the end readings As this is a catch up bill bearing in mind we have just had the coldest winter on record.
If the start readings are As and the end readings Es it means you did not supply E-on with a Chnage of Supplier reading during the correct period (-+5 days of change date).
If the start and end readings are As then this is how much you have used.
