I got 4 bottles of CW hair spray which all scan at £4.44
should have been 2 for £4
I got a refund of £27.52 plus I kept the items
it this right

Think you did more than alright David !

You should have got:

Over charge of £4.88 x 2 (double the discount) = £9.76 (for 2 bottles)

So for 4 bottles you should have got £19.52 (if my maths is right which it often isn't ! lol)

Maybe someone else can confirm (DTD always confuses me ! lol)

You were overycharged £9.76 ( you were charged 4x£4.44 = £17.76 when you should have paid £8 2x£4 )
so DTD should have been £19.52 refund.

i think she got mix up and instead of taking £8 off she only took £4 off
ie
she did 4 x £4.44 which is £17.76 then took £4 off ( instead of £8 ) which come to £13.76 DTD £27.52 is what I got
Should I have been allow to keep the items as well as the refund

Manage to find one. I placed it together with my normal shopping, but the girl at the till noticed and said that she can't sell it to me, because she would lose her job. I politely asked for the duty manager and he also said that he could not sell it to me. . When I asked why, he said that the price was wrong. He said that I should call the headoffice instead. What a pile of crap
