IP Stands for Internet Protocol - it's a way of moving data across networks. Every computer on the internet will have an IP address - it's of the form 12.34.56.789 It identifies the computer on the internet and allows it to send and receive data. It's much the same as needing a house address to send and receive letters.

Info you can get from it - varies but you can find out the Internet Service Provider details, country of origin, and depending on the account type sometimes the name of the account holder.

The comments on this website gives Tesco far more of a 'bad name' than i ever could and with interest where do you get your 'with so many disgruntled Tesco employee's' figure's from? Out of the 250,000+ who work for the company less than 0.01% have voiced their concerns on the 'Very Little Helps' website and internal annoymous staff audits show that morale is on the increase.

Thanks mate....I'll respond to this as it isnt a troll post.... I joined ELP before you did, although have just been lurking.....Ive seen enough evidence on here to see that you have actually taken a lot of the dross with you.

I'm quite happy to do my own thing, theres enough respected posters on here to keep it going, and it also wont stop the PM's I get from your members.

What I dont understand though is why some of you feel the need to come back on to here(not just you) and try to destroy the thread that created you and helped you gain the success(be it RandR or reporting to your bosses) youve had.

I'm certain theres a lot of your members who know I am not referring to them
