    Hi
Have been reading the thread with interest, just a quick question-what is a golden randr? I understand the whole RandR thing, and had one last week on the Indiana Jones boxset.

its a term used for getting your r+r then taking the product back for a full refund
so instead of the product you keep you have money instead
    its something i havent done

Been out looking for R+Rs before but hadn' come across anything!

Was shopping today and the girlfriend picked up a dvd in the sale, it scanned at the wrong price. She was trying to tell the cashier it was wrong but I said not to worry about it and in the end, I had to tell the cashier directly that I'd sort it out at customer service.

    Nearly didn't get an R+R there...phew!

    x

Most posters do not put their location. This is one of those situations where you need to do some of the leg work yourself.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Thanks for the reply, just another quick question. We tried on the weekend to get an R&R on a PSP-didnt happen, manager was having none of it, despite me arguing for almost 1hr with him. Just wanted advice from others, he told us that the Tesco policy on R&R is at the discretion of the Store Manager? Is this correct?

Secondly, when do you go to CS to get your R&R is it immediately after paying at the checkout? Or do you go to the car and back into the store? Or do you go home and then back to the store? When we were trying to get the R&R on the PSP, he told us it was strange that we had gone straight to CS, I told him that as I was spending such a large amount of money(we bought other shopping as well as the PSP), I had checked my receipt as we were leaving the store and noticed the error so went to sort it out as we live too far away to drive home and go back to the store to sort it all out

Thanks again for any advice and help

how were you overcharged on the psp?
i usually go to cs desk after studying my reciept and looking puzzle, i have gone to the car first before returning too, but i would not leave it too long as the SEL my have been moved by the time you return.
    Another day another R&R
