    Still a Tesco's R&R virgin... :(

Keeping the faith though. Everyone else seems to be doing alright out of it (except Tesco ;))

I thought I was on to a winner with an Xbox360, but they actually undercharged me 20 quid so I couldn't R&R. Argh. Only time in my life I was unhappy to be undercharged.

Gotta be my eight wireless xboxes in 4 days of which I got golden r&r's out of 5 of them.

Had sooooo many others, at least 30+ mobile phones, a dozen digital cameras, too many console games to even remember, not to mention PS2's, PSP's, DS's and freezers full of meat.

All in all, about £15,000 worth of goods, if not more. Not bad for six months.

Its a Till receipt /Coupon that comes out with your shopping Receipt, with extra points for further purchases or money off ...
ie: 50 Extra Points if you buy soap powder etc .. you only get them if you are using your clubcard .. But they are few and far between.
    hth ;)

Oh, and the clubcard points too with deals vouchers and thanks to Sainsburys for taking my used vouchers too.

Can i ask from a complete idiots prospective, what is it everyone is doing??
Ive read "some" of the pages (there no way im doing em all!!!)

My basic understanding is that if you purchase something and are overcharged to what it says on the shop floor price tag.
You can go back and get a full refund and keep the product?

    Nice one mate..........Happy New Year.

Out of everything Ive had, everything bar one mobile(present) all my beers, all my food and my Moet(presents) have gone back for Goldens........

Oh, and the goods exchanged for my Tom Tom.........

Not one non food item sold.

Took me 5 months to get my last golden on my last PSP and games.....

So all in all a brilliant 6 months.

And £3k worth of "others" (not inc RandRs) in the last 6 weeks.

As for my best and biggest (so far)........got to be "the others"..........apart from the July/August/September Console fiasco..............which was the biggest "rush"

So A Happy and Equally Prosperous New Year to All.

    and Thanks Mr T

    and MSE for this thread.

and the person who directed me here..........who initially was the girl that I bought a Dell PC off on ebay.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

The first 2 posts on this thread have a really good explanation of how it works.

Tesco policy is that if you are charged more than the price on the item or more than the price on the shelf then you are entited to a full refund and to keep the item. It can get more complicated if the shelf price label is out of date.

Best advice is to go to the very 2 first posts read them and then come back and ask specific questions.

    Be warned this becomes addictive.

Some stores have scanners, some don't, some have them but they don't work. They are usually on pillars around the store, but be careful scanning items in case you are noticed. If possible don't scan or have someone with you to scan an item, so that you are not seen checking the price and then asking for a refund for being overcharged. I try not to scan at all anymore, after awhile if you keep up with misprices you have a good idea of what will scan at the wrong price without scanning. I just change my mind at the checkout if it goes through at the lower price.
  • happy new year all ,just a quick question is the rnr policy changing if so from what date cheers.
