postie why did u not pik up 2?
  • I found some old (and have to say rather crap) DVD's in the 3 for £18 offer...they were stickered £7.xx each - i went to self scan and the 3 for £18offer didn't trigger as it should - instead it triggered the 2 for £12 offer instead and just overcharged for the other third DVD. Only problem is that although they were stickered £7.xx they have all now been reduced to £6.xx which meant the woman said that the difference between what I actually paid and should have paid was only 96p

I told her that didn't matter and they should refund but she was having none of it and the duty manager agreed with her and they offered me one of the DVD's free. As it was crap and I would need to buy the other two crap DVD'S I told them to forget it and just refund the lot....

The moral of this long story is that I think this offer is getting trickier to pull as now it triggers the 2 for £12 you are technically only being overcharged for the 3rd one...plus the DVDs left are really not that good - wouldn't bother personally! Is the TESCO policy definetely changing? Anyone else spoken to HO lately?

Can somebody please please please confirm what the DigiLogic 15inch LCD (Code:DG1LCDsomething) scans for? Saw 2 different SEL's on it today. This could be a big one...

edit - couldn't scan it myself as all the self-scanner's were broken in 'this' store

Can't help with price, sorry but if you are new to this you need to make sure both sels are definitely for the same item. Usually the last digit at the of the barcode indicates which is the latest (correct) price, so which ever sel has the highest number should be the correct price. Go back and check, if you're still not sure give it a whirl at the checkout and forget your card if its the lower price.

    The Tesco Serial Killer?

You, MATE, have got issues only professional help will cure. If your lucky. And several medical breakthroughs occur in rapid succession.

I have seen some !!!! poor journalism in my time, but that displayed by the site you constantly tout is going to take some beating.
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure

Superintendent Stewart Gull said "He has been arrested on the suspicion of murdering all five women - Gemma Adams, Tania Nicol, Anneli Alderton, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls," whose bodies had been found near villages south of Ipswich, Suffolk, during the past three weeks.

Lets not be judge and jury.

Did they have a history of r&r, could be the link police are looking for.

Sorry, its in poor taste but couldn't help it.

Well it was wlfc1 who INVITED me to join the "circle of trust" i added his site to my list of favourites, now the site has been changed to "every little helps" so i am assuming that maggie is wlfc who else would want to gain members from this forum to benefit the other forum?

Bear in mind these are all my own assumptions!

Well mate...i really think you have "assumpted"(i know its wrong) incorrectly here.

I would be really pleased if a tried and tested RandRer like wlfc1 was at the head of this site.

Unfortunately i dont believe this to be the case.

And it isnt even called "Every little helps" now.

In fact it isnt even called what Maggie calls it.....Every Penny Helps

It appears now to be called "Every little penny"

No one seems to have been brave enough to answer Constantines question either......I wonder why.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
