I am in need of new specs or contact lenses this looks like a very good offer in fact to good to be true. So could I get the eye test contact lens assesment and a free trial of the sift lens multi focal lenses free for 1 month?
Do they also give you a copy of youre prescription incase you decide to buy youre glasses elsewhere after the trial period. What I was thinking of doing was trying the free offers and maybe ordering online if they provide a copy of youre prescription.I wouldnt think this is possible but live in hope

question: are contact lenses for either long or short sightedness as I seem to be in the minority with my short vision being ok but my distance sight failing

Not sure about the contact lense offer but when I last did the sight test it was free and done by an optician, then they 'handed' you over to a sales person - who you ignore/bluff with your own stories.

They give you a prescription to do with what you want.

If its free I think everyone should get a test - there was some horror story about millions of drivers trundling around half-blind the other week.

I knew I needed glasses but was shocked to the extent - I can see leaves again and I spend time reading the spines of my books - I even had a Donald Pleasance moment the other day picking up minute bits of the floor!

just used the free test & contact voucher

fancied trying contact + needed eye test

    eye test ok
contact lense exam - told the voucher was for vario focal lenses only, ie those for people who use variolux lenses,
told as these were not suitable for my prescription, i would have to pay £25 for the contact lense examination, however for that £25 you would get 5 free trial pairs of another type of lense
this was half way throught the consultation, so made excuses & said didnt want to pay £25 to try lenses

sight test however was free- thx to op
