I wonder if the signing up process includes the customer's agreement to start the service?
On the face of it, it sounds reasonable that the customer has agreed to the start of the service, but has also unwittingly given up their right to cancel the service under DSRs whilst doing so.

Heh heh, I was suggesting not relying on DSR's but on the more broadly based 'you advertised x, I paid for x, you delivered y, not x - where's my money?' which just about every jurisdiction has a law covering, saves relying on UK legislation for a cross-border online purchase of services.0
