If i ever get them coming on the phone telling me i'm due for a prize and they need my bank details to pay it, I ask them to confirm that they're genuine which they always do, then i say hang on i'll go get my bank number, then give them a made up number and bank account.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

The scambaiters who do play along to waste the scammers time and have fun all use special dedicated email accounts. Sadly, ignoring spam hasn't made it stop, instead it has grown to the point where some ISP's report it represents 17 put of every 20 emails through the servers.0

Yet I still can't understand how anyone would fall for it; the whole idea is just completely unbelievable!0 -

Because the general public as a whole are as thick as 2 short planks. A small part of my job is customer service (I know, they must have picked the wrong person...) and it never ceases to amaze me how thick some people can be. Might sound harsh but it's true.0
