Nah, i've quite disciplined when it comes to spending on credit cards.

I was very tempted to buy a brand new fireblade this year but its just far too frivolous especially when it was only last year when i bought the Daytona from new. Buying abit of bling is going to suppress any urges i get for a new one.
Mine's a 600, the 955is are nice but abit too touring style for me.

Coming away with approx 33k from the house sale.

    I have a 6.5k loan with egg & 7.3k in credit cards.

The credit card debt is going to transferred to another 0% deal with alliance & leicester so i can keep my minimum payments to £5.

I've had second thoughts about paying the loan off straight away. I'm going to put the 33k into a saving account with First Direct ( 5.2% APR ) and pay the loan off with my increased income over the next 8-9 months by making additional payments of about £600 a month on top of the structured payments of approx £170 per month. Don't think it'll make alot of difference to what i pay in interest.

Well you don't need a new daytona and a new blade, that's just greedy. I tried an R6, CBR600 and ZX6 for used bike heaven but I found the riding position too uncomfortable after the fazer. I wouldn't be able to do long trips and weekenders on a sports bike so I'm sticking with what I've got for the moment.

If you're ending up with some surpless cash open an isa, don't pay unnecessary tax to the government. As long as it's an instant access one you can pay off the cards once you get to the end of all your 0% deals.

At least you've learnt to be more disciplined from all this.
