19p bargins at Superdrug! Bodywash, bath soak etc...

Had a very good day today - Firstly I had an informal interview and got the job!!! :j:j:j

Then , to top it all of course , popped into Superdrug just in case and at FIRST I thought ''okay , no bargains for me today'' and was too scared to risk it with any items with the FULL price sel on it! lol

So after trawling up and down a couple of aisles & not spotting a thing THEN came across 2 solitary Mateys , so thought I'd risk it ( £2.49 sel ) then saw lots of the 10p kiddies toothpastes ( got 6 for DGS ) and 2 of the hair straightening stuff ( Superdrug Straight Expertise ) for 49p then spotted some Nailene 'Nail Duets' for 20p ( glue on french nails ) got 1 each for DD's & thought I might as well go for 1 of the S/D Coconut shower creams ( 49p )

I asked the SA to price check the Mateys = fine 49p , then a solitary Blanx I found on the shelf ( came up as £7.50 :eek: ) and a Beverley Hills toothpaste with no SEL just in case .... was £2.99 so left those obviously

Erm , then the FUN began , had picked up a Dettol no hands wash SEL £4.99 and yep came up @ £9.99 sooo SA called supervisor who took AGES whilst everyone in Q behind me was getting rather restless , one even abandoned their basket! ( ooops!! ) but then they moved me to another till to complete the transaction , phew!!

I told the lady behind me in the Q about the 10p toothpase as she had a child with her but she didn't seem interested for some reason..

Last but not least - Handed my Debenhams Beauty Card to the supervisor by mistake!!! lol

I keeping meaning to look for the matey but never remember, I'll make a point of it tomrrow, we go through sooooo much bubble bath.

I'm just as bad, I usually try to hand them my Boots card, last time I did that the poor SA (a very young looking boy) tried to swipe it a few times and looked very confused lol!

I got there @ about 6pm today as its open till 7pm , there were still some empty gaps where some of the 20p items were like the nail stuff but was so happy with what I did manage to get as at one point I honestly thought I was going to come out of the store with nothing and I really wanted some more bits for my DGS especially as I was passing SD after my interview and a Post Office ( queue for ages ) trip! lol

talking about the beauty card. i got a letter throught the door saying "dear mrs xx sorry we cant register your beaty card as your under 16" i am 41! and the letter was addres to me a mrs. i tried to re register it again online, i hope i dont lose the points obn the card though.

I found
Listerine Total Care Enamel Guard Mouthwash 250ml and
Colgate Enamel Protect Toothpaste 75ml
in the Glasgow Bishopbriggs branch.
The sales assistant was more than happy to let me know that there was going to be plenty more items coming up as some stock is being discontinued! Although I then spent an hour looking for more things but came out with just the 2 items listed as I couldn't find anything else.
Still I managed to buy 3 of each and still spent less than I would have done if I had bought the toothpaste that I had picked up 1st!!
I love a bargain and I will be popping in every couple of days to see what else I can find!! I will be sure to let you know should I find anything else

that was lucky. in my store you dont find much only the 20p kids toothpastes left n that too only around 5. but it is a small store.

odd flattering though sweet sixteen. but did they really think a 16 year old would be married at that age.lol. i havent got a SD beauty card yet.
