19p bargins at Superdrug! Bodywash, bath soak etc...

I know that in most places the 19p and 49p deals may have gone, but it's still worth checking out your local store if you haven't already done so as there are still deals to be found. I went into my local this Tuesday and found:

3 x creme oil body wash 19p each
4 x Spa body butter 49p each
4 x Spa bath crystals 49p each

I decided to get all the body washes and just one of the body butters, just in case I didn't like it. When I got home I tried the body butter and fell in love with the smell, then kicked myself that I hadn't scooped them all up. The next day I rang the same store to see if they had any left (and also asked about the Moroccan range) and the Sales Assistant said they were all gone. Then I rang round a few other stores who also said they were sold out. In some cases, I'm not convinced they really knew what I was on about but told me they were sold out and it would probably be the same situation in the small stores. However, I was loathe to make a special trip, so just left it.

Well, today I was back in town so thought I'd take another look just in case. Would you believe it? They still had all the body butters and bath crystals that I saw earlier in the week, sitting in the exact same place on the exact same bottom shelf with no prices on it. I'm convinced they were the same ones and not newly found stock they'd brought out from the back since Tuesday. Sometimes the Sales Assistants don't know what's going on in their own store and in some cases don't appear to be interested either, so it's definitely worthwhile still checking things out for yourself if you get chance. In the end, I got all 12 products for a grand total of £4.98 (41.5p each), even if it took a few goes. :j
