Bought Some Nice n Easy 109A Natural Warm Auburn in the store a few doors down from work for 49p yesterday. My hair was this colour as a child. Since I got older and added layers, the auburness has almost gone, apart from when I am outside in sunny weather for a long time.

    Bought all 3 boxes there.

I was not aware of the offers and just happened to be in my local sotre - Birmingham Bullring. Saw items on the bottom shelf from 10p - 49p. Did not note everything as I was in a rush, but did pick up some body creams called Kings & Queens, very exoctic fragrences, large size, got these for 10p each! Had to take them to the till to confirm this brilliant price. Did check out the branch in Acocks Green, Birmingham, but did not see anything. Will keep looking.

Many thanks for this clozza. :T

Can you please tell me if the hair colourants are marked at the lower price on the SEL?

My cousin is looking for auburn/red and I must admit I haven't paid them any attention as I don't use them. TIA

  • Afternoon everyone :) Internet has been down all morning so just logging on now.

Back from Superdrug and managed to get 6 of the SD expanding dental floss which is on the shelves for 49p but scans for 20p. I nearly messed up big time. On reaching the till I asked the girl to scan the dental floss to make sure it was reduced to 49p, she then said oh it scans for 20p - I nearly fell to the floor because I thought oh dear she's going to take them off me  However, she was a lovely SA and scanned them through while I went to get some more :rotfl:

Caz, have sent you a PM - sorry for the delay in replying.

Can't imagine them taking stuff off you - it's not Tesco!!! ;) I bought loads this am and only one item had correct SEL. Everything rang up at 19p or 20p as per list (nothing new, but mostly restocked Spa and Moroccan which I missed most of last week).

It actually cost me nothing for 20 items as I used my points! :T Chucked in two Beechams Ultra All in One from next to till reduced from £5.35 to £1.25 as I felt a bit bad loading up two shopping bags - and virtually paying nothing!

Got some expanding floss for 20p, Gliss shampoo at 49p and Colgate max clean toothpaste for 20p. Other things I spotted were Beverley HIlls formula toothpastes at 79p, usually around £4, baby toothbrushes (Colgate Smile character ones and Superdrug extra soft) at 10p and some medium bristle colgate can't remember the type toothbrushes! I am fairly dim!

Went to a different SD to usual today and got:

3 x SD moisture rich creme oil bodywash with luxurious extract of silk and triple mositurisers 250ml 05283729 for 19p each

3 x SD volumising conditioner for normal or fine hair 300ml 05734504 for 20p each
    (looks like this :http://www.binbin.net/compare/SUPERDRUG-VOLUMISING-CONDITIONER-300ML.htm)

    1 x Matey Max bubble bath 500ml 5000231009044 for 49p
    (looks like this ; http://www.co-operativepharmacy.co.uk/Matey-Bubble-Bath-Max-500ml/id-3531597)

1 x simple kind to skin moisturising bath cream 400ml 5011451102644 for 99p (not a massive bargain as usually only £2-£2.50 but I fancied it)

This was at the Wood Green store (opp. shopping city), N London - I left another 2 bodywashes and 2 mateys on the shelf and about half a dozen conditioners and bath creams if anyone round that way is interested.

They also had loads of the kids toothbrushes and toothpastes for 10p as well as a coconut shower cream and a mens shower gel which were 49p and were these ones:

First SD I went to was the best bought loads of stuff then decided

to go back to get some more 20p toothpaste a sheepish looking

young male SA approached me and told me that I wasn't allowed to

"bulk buy" I said where is it that it says that? he then got a bit red

and muttered something about his manager I laughed and said how

many am I allowed to take then? he said your just not allowed to

clear the shelf so I took all bar one :rotfl:he then seemed to turn

though because as I was paying at cash register he approached me

to tell me that the Aquafresh was also 20p each and "did i want

help taking them up to the till" lol so managed to get 10 of them @

    20p aswell :P
