Sheila's Wheels Car Insurance Friend

Is there perhaps the one night free offer still available. I'm doing my Mum's car insurance, she is the opposite of a money saver!! I've got her a quote more than 50% less than her current renewal quote and its with Sheila's Wheels.

I see older threads with some mentioning the recommend a friend which gets both people a free gift. Anyone around who can help?

Not sure I would be happy to have just one free night, on the back of taking a policy out with Sheila.

Take the chance to search this forum and others. You will find many posts where people have had nothing but problems when they come to need to claim.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

To be fair though, you'll probably never find anyone who's posted who has had no problems claiming, so it may just be Sheilas Wheels have more customers, and the odd few have had problems.

I was a bit nervous as well, these threads are dangerous...

However they are part of Esure, who I think are decent, and they are headed by Peter Wood, the old executive at RBS/Direct Line, who I know are perfectly reputable, so I insured with them. and no insurer ever seems to do well on review sites, for the very reason the thousands who get a good service expect it and dont bother writing reviews etc.

Reminds me though, I never got my pamper day for going via confused.com or whoever it was, and I have no way of knowing how to claim it now..ah well.
  • I signed up to Sheila's Wheels a couple of days ago. Got the pack in the post - they still give you the voucher for a free night's hotel accommodation or 12 free car washes if you get a friend to sign up.

The big name 'budget' insurers don't because people love to moan rather than praise.

One too avoid for House Insurance, their under insurance ruse is not good and is catching lots of people out

DON'T INSURE WITH SHEILAS WHEELS! Appalling customer services, rude staff and I cancelled after one day! I dread to think what would happen if I needed to make a claim!
