Thanks to Parisp on HOTUKDEALS for this,
Wilkinsons are offering both instore and online a Free Paint Pod worth £38 when you buy any Dulux paint. Cheapest £11.47 . I know there are mixed reviews on this machine , but if you were thinking about trying one now is the time .

I've got a paint pod and love it, alright its noisy and its not perfect at cleaning itself but it painted my kitchen really well, if you can get one for free i'd recomend it
Infact, I'm going to go and get another one for my mum! thanks OP! x0 -
A lot of people don`t rate them but i think they good for people with slight mobility problems because you don`t have to keep climbing up and down ladders to re load your roller/paintbrush etc.0

So can you tip normal paint in if you wash out the dulux paint pod? Im sure you cant, but wondered if you had tried?0

thanks for the tips, I wondered about these now I think I will get one.0

Yes you CAN use normal paint in the container. Just thin it down until it looks right. I've found the paint sold for it goes on better if you use 1/2-1pint of water also as otherwise it struggles with loading. Seems to cover the same. We've used the Wilkinsons 'normal' paint in it (NOT the cheap value stuff!) and it covers just as well as the dulux.
It IS a bit fiddly to clean - you MUST clean the head properly - where it attaches is essential to clean & means dismantling it partially BUT it really helps those of us maybe getting a bit older with arthritus. Beats the hell out of those cheap rollers/paintpads that leave bits behind. IF it came with paintpads to do the edges I'd give it 10/10.
I need some white gloss so will be up to Wilkinsons tomorrow - worth it for the batteries included in the paintpod - although we've used rechargeables in it with no problem.0 -

I agree - just ordered a tin of gloss & my (spare) paint pod :T0 -
I just ordered for instore collection - the paintpod was in my basket right up until checkout, but there's no mention of it on my receipt. If you order for instore collection - make sure you take a screenshot - just in caseI :heartpuls M.S.E.
