Thanks for starting the thread, CH27
I didn't follow my meal plan much last week for various reasons - unexpected guests, being an unexpected guest, dog ill, so there will be some repetition from last week but also because I am changing slightly the way I do meal planning.
I'm finding now we're in supposed summer I'm not really often feeling like the thick substantial soups which were my lunch mainstay through the winter so I'm going to try planning 2 meals a day, 1 a lighter more snack-like type.
Breakfast as always will usually be oats or value muesli soaked in milk and with fruit (at the moment usually rhubarb or the last of my frozen blackberries).
Dinners & Lunches:
Sat: onion, tomato, bacon quiche with green salad
salmon w.yogurt crust, new potatoes, peas
Sun: celery filled w.philly & hummous, b n b
chicken marengo
Mon: (f) mortadella & salad sandwich
marinaded (f)steak, new potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, salad
Tue: (f)prawn salad
smoked (f)salmon & (f)broccoli quiche with green salad
Wed: grilled (f)pork steak, saute potatoes, beetroot & apple, cabbage
sardines on toast
Thu: nut roast, salad
F.ChocClare's Chinese Chicken
Fri: liver & bacon casserole, mash, cabbage,
f.fish pie, beetroot with apple, broccoli0 -
