Wonga Mis-payment

Hi guys,

One of those threads in which I have missed my payment date!

Anyway, I have missed my payment date which was 17th June and to be honest I have no way of paying back the loan. But Usually I am pretty good with stuff like this.

BUT

Yesterday when they was sending me the emails to tell me of mis-collection I got one about 9am saying of the mis-collection, then one around noon saying they have got the payment successfully. SO I am wondering what to do now, as I checked Wonga online and it seems they haven't took any money out and I am still in debt to them (£500).

But I had the email saying they have successfully got it, any way I could play on this? Because they have really annoyed me over the last few months with the amount of money they take and terrible customer service.

Could I possibly say that I thought the money had took, because I had saw the email, etc? Or talk to them about it see what they say?

Thanks in advance.

Just pay it back, you had it from them to begin with. Otherwise, you're a THIEF.

LOL they'll be back to clean you out, I would just get on and arrange a payment plan with them.

If you keep using the same bank account, they will just come and clean you out anyway.

No, you are not. If you were you wouldn't be dealing with Wonga.

And your other posts would not be in the gambling section.

When you say play on it, how do you mean? Do you mean get a tune out of it?

You could say you thought the lord almighty himself took the money from your account to pay to Wonga. Doesn't make it in any way true.
Re-pay what you owe, rather than trying to wriggle out of it.

How can THEY. annoy YOU with the amount they take?

You currently have 500 of their money you owe but you think you are the victim.

You sound like another crap gambler who flashes it all about but in reality lost everything a long time ago.

Its going to get much worse for you.

Somewhere, or a forum similar to this one, there is currently a post "Wonga took £500 from my account but I don't owe them anything"... This will come out in the wash, so provision for it to do so. The best you'll get is an extended interest free period (ie right now) when you could/should be repaying!

I am a regular gambler and bet on a lot of different things,

You are not going to get out of your mess by Gambling dude. Thousands before you have fallen over that hurdle.
  • Go and make appointment with a different bank on Monday morning to open up a new account and face the hassle of transferring over your wages, DDs etc. Because Wonga will strike at anytime. Have you actually checked your balance with your bank now? If you are due some money in on Monday they have probably took it and their systems jave not updated yet.

"Because they have really annoyed me over the last few months with the amount of money they take and terrible customer service."

Hang on here.... you borrowed money from them and you knew before you got it how much you would have to pay back.... so why be annoyed at the moeny they take.

Anyway your debt of £500 will be £525 now with the mis-collection fee and an extra £8 a day interest it remains outstanding.
