Hello all, well i've been with the Co-op for over a year & only had one 'default' as such, an unpaid DD. I can't get the account upgraded as they externally credit check. I just opened a Step Account & wondered if anyone knows if they will upgrade & if so, is it on the way the account is run or external checks or both? I don't mind if it takes a year or more. Have tried Citibank too, I just want a proper debit card1 Thanks

Is there a Yorkshire Bank near you?
I've heard rumours that people with Step Accounts can get upgrades if they have maintained the account well over say a yearly period. But this is un-proven.0 -
Yeah we have a Yorkshire in town, it's my back up plan0
