You can go to Mount Sinai for about £60 for a day in a taxi. Stop off for snorkeling as well.
Don't go on an organised tour to Cairo/Giza, they will take you round commission-paying papyrus shops, perfume shops, etc., wasting time when you want to be at the pyramids/museum.
Snorkel set cheap about £5 if you don't get ripped off, but all fake. Don't go in any restaurant without a menu in English they WILL scam you otherwise,0
