Natwest Business Account being bought by Santander

I've got a business account with Natwest and it's based in the Direct Business Banking Centre. I've had a letter from them to say that the Direct Business Banking Centre is one of the parts of natwest that's being sold to Santander and as a result, my account will also be transferred to Santander.
My conern is, Santander haven't got the greatest reputation. Bank transfers from Santander accounts to my business account still take 3 days which is an absolute joke and I really don't want to be forced to have an account with such a bank.
Is it likely that I'll be given the option to move my account to a branch that isn't being sold or should I be looking to transfer my account to another bank completely?

Personally I'd transfer to a completely different bank, and make it clear to them why I am doing so.0

I've already moved my personal account to a branch unaffected by the sale. Santander cause enough trouble to consumers, I shudder to think of the damage they could cause to a business.0

I opened a new account and then transferred the direct debits over. I could have waited and allowed RBS to transfer the account themselves, but I wanted to remain in control of the process.0

hmm that's what I might end up doing. I might ring the business centre on Monday and ask whether they can move my account.0

Call 08456072607 between 8:30 and 18:00 on week days and state your not happy with the transfer of ownership. Your case will be raised and dealt in due course.0
