My partner has just discovered that all her bank details statements etc have been sent to an incorrect address held on her account. to make it worse it was the address of her ex husband who must have changed addesses three times over the past six years and has advised the bank to send the details there.
The account was never a joint account.
What action can my partner take?

Complain.
Ask for compensation.
Escalate to the FOS if still unhappy.
Report the bank to the Information Commissioner.
Sue the bank for damages.
Or change banks. I would.0 -
The bank has failed to maintain an accurate database and to safguard confidential data. Complaint to the Information Commissioner. Use the online complaint form on their website."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0
