Can someone recommend a wireless mouse please?

Options
I'm looking for a wireless mouse that is a normal mouse size (not a small one), which has good performance and is comfortable to use, which has a small USB dongle and which has a good battery life (or is rechargeable). I want it for normal use, not gaming. The price is not important.

The Logitech V450 is the highest rated on Amazon so looked ideal, but I since read this is very small (as they nearly all seem to be!) so that's no good for what I want.

That's a big USB dongle though. I wanted one with a small dongle as it will be plugged in all the time.

I have the Logitech MX620. Had it for over a year now and am only on my 3rd set of batteries in it. The USB adapter is tiny. I did end up putting it in a short USB extension lead as I was getting minor problems with it on my desktop. The system unit is under the desk and with the back close to a radiator, so a lot of metal where the adapter was plugged in.
For the length of time the batteries last, I figured it wasn't worth using rechargeables. It gives plenty of motice when the batteries are getting low anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion, I like the look of the MX620 but unfortunately it has been discontinued so is out of stock everywhere (well, someone is selling it for £79.99 on Amazon but that's a bit steep!).

Lidl currently has a wireless keyboard and mouse for £16.99. The dongle is tiny at 0.5cm x 0.5cm x 1.5cm plus the USB connector - a fraction of the size in the picture below - and can be stored in the bottom of the mouse.

The mouse has seven buttons plus an extra one that either changes the DPI or toggles to a multimedia mode. Lidl seems to still allow you to return the item within 28 days if you don't like it.

The Logitech M505 is decently large, with a nano USB adaptor. Doesn't have the back/forward toggle, but then again I've never known the joy of one. Takes two AA batteries.

I prefer the M305 as it is more compact and feels far better build quality, but with your oafishly large hands you might find it too small.

Thanks, the M505 looks good and could be the solution. I have just watched a review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1i6oZvbKsg) and my only reservation is that the reviewer stresses how small it is several times.

Thanks. The link doesn't work though and I'd prefer a better quality product than Lidl really.

Maybe it's been awhile since I used a full sized mouse :)

Does everyone have small hands these days? :)

I have the Logitech 510 & I'm really pleased with it, it has the nano usb dongle

my son has their M705, again with a nano dongle, but I don't like it so much, the shape doesn't 'fit' my hand very well, but my son likes it better than mine

it might be an idea to go to a shop where you can try them out first

The Logitech 510 is the best I have seen yet. £30 from Amazon so not cheap, but it includes a 3-year warranty and I'd prefer a high quality mouse rather than a cheapy. According a the review on YouTube the batteries last up to two years, which is impressive.
