Cash Flow for Business Plan Advice (Business Assignment)

Hello All.

Im In the middle of doing a Business Plan.

I am setting up a company that sells candy. I will be setting my plan on one of them stalls that usually sells womens handbags/gifts etc In the middle of Isles In modern shopping centres such as Birmingham Bullring and Solihull Touchwood.

Basicly, I need some advice. I dont want to make my cash flow complicated.

Under Sales - should I list each Individual candy bar I am selling or just the company that sells them, Ie

Sales
________
Nestle
Cadbury
Lint

...
or

Sales
_____
Cadbury Creme Egg Bar
Cadbury Bar
etc etc

I plan to sell 15 Items. Its for a business assignment (BTEC nat dip)

Thanks

    What a sweet idea!

The manufacturer doesn't really matter; what matters is the price you're buying for and the selling price for each item, so you can work out your cash flow and make sure you've got some dosh from sales to buy more bars.

So you'd normally do it by item. Although if you want to be really simple, then you can just fix your margin on each sale and it doesn't matter what product it is.

And by the way, are you American?
