I've made a debt free diary now :D

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3325706

To try and keep me on debt free journey I'm writing all my processes to becoming debt free and if I have any pitfalls.

Today for example sorted out my housing benefit overpayment and started my new claim, but I'm so annoyed at my housemate for taking the tenancy agreement to work and LEAVING it there! So I have to go in in 2 weeks to hand it in, as I'm working, which is also another complication!!! Oh well if I want the money I suppose I'll have to do it. Can't really afford to lose 3 weeks of housing benefit, not with my debts!

    Kick. Pimms isn't cheap.

A bottle of Pimms was son sale today at COOP for 10 quid. So you could have only bought one and saved a tenner :D Wouldn't have needed the BOGOF.

I only noticed it as I was thinking of you, the only time I drink it is if I am at the horse races lol.

Great on your ebay sales. I listed 13 but only sold 3. Profit is around 12 quid. But I gave half of it to the kids as it was their stuff:cool:

    Ooh £10 Pimms? Lol.

On ebay I did list some items at £4.99 or £9.99. I sold ACDC Rockband for £9.99 I originally bought it for £7.99!! Profit! :D The cheapest I saw it for selling anywhere was about £12, so I probably could have got more for it, but I'm happy I got profit from it!

    Bit of an update.

I've been not spending that much money in recent weeks, so that's good. I do have a free music gig next Saturday of a friend's band, it was going to be yesterday in Croydon but it got called off. So that's a cheap evening out! Might have 1 drink though!

I've recently been accepted for a new 0% CC deal 18 months with Natwest, so transferred £1000 of my Halifax CC to it, the Halifax CC 0% deal expires in a few weeks.

But I feel like I have no money as I'm now back in black on my overdraft with Natwest, and don't want to go back into it! Although may have to as I'm moving house in 1 month. I have so much work coming up too, so that's good :D

I'm glad I've kept with doing my driving lessons. I'm doing 3 2 hour lessons a month, costing £156 a month, which is a lot, but I'm making good progress and my instructor's good, better than my old one a few years back!

I just need a kick to ebay some stuff, but my schedule's packed

Got 2 days off work from now until the 24th. Then 25th-29th Reading Festival. Got potential work 4-9th September and some of the weekends surrounding it. Need to move out my house by 12th September at the latest. Then start back on my recurring job mid September!

I have a lack of time at the minute to do things, I need to find a place to move into.

Looking forward to Reading and October when a lot of gigs that I've already paid for (cheap ones) are happening, and I'll also hopefully be settled into a new house.
