Mopar in car dvd player (Chrysler)

I had a bump last week and on the garage returning my vehicle to me (a Chrysler voyager) the dvd player now recognises nothing. It say error - wrong region ? ?

I wasnt allowed to use a chrysler garage i had to use one recommended by insurance company.

I have the codes for the stereo written down in my manual but nothing for the dvd player.

Im currently googling every avenue, but wondered if anyone technical on here would be any wiser ?

car went into chrysler yesterday (oil problem) they cant help unless i give go ahead for work at a charge of £110 a hour ..surely there is a cheaper option ? ?

Maybe you could try a car forum. Don't use them myself (I don't even have a car) but my dad loves the pistonheads forum.

thanks i have posted on a car chrysler forum on car space but got no where. the search continues ! i hate driving the thing with such an expensive thing not working ..i am going back to my insurance company today to try and see if they will pay.
