Latex based tannin blocking primer

Hi,
I'm currently in the process of painting an old dressing table. However, after applying 2x coats of primer, areas of it are stained yellow, which I can only assume is due to some tannin in the wood. Can anyone recommend a primer that will prevent tannin coming through before I apply my topcoat?
Thanks

Thanks!
This looks like it's oil based - would I have to sand back all the primer I've used so far, apply this, and then undercoat to get rid of silver colour? Could water based undercoat and eggshell be used over the top?0
