NPower - Price rise? SOL 22?
Hi there,
Is SOL 22 going to be replaced by SOL 23 if/when Npower follow suit and put there prices up? Or is SOL 22 already priced in at the new higher rate?
Just trying to compare Go Fix 6 and SOL 22 thats all.
Dont want to go for SOL 22 and then find out the expected price rise happens and wished I had fixed.

SOL22 is a variable rate so will increase as and when npower announce their increase (they haven't at this time). Altho Go Fix is a tad dearer I would opt for that over sol22, as sol23 wheneverthat is released is unlikel;y to be similarly priced!0

Just looking at Scottish Powers cheapest online deal which is unaffected by there recent prices changes.
With SOL22 only been out for 1 month I'm wondering IF Npower have already priced in there increase to this tariff already and would therefore be unaffected when the prices go up.0 -
What you'll find with scot pow oes14, altho currently unaffected by the increase 1-8, it is still a variable rate, as still available to customers to sign up to, they will hike the prices by the already announced average margins, just be about Oct/Nov sort of time. A number of the power co's do this with their online deals, they increase them at a later date than the standard increase. But it WILL go up as not a fixed/capped unit rate tariff.0

Yep, they did the same to me on OES 10 but it only went up by 1p a unit rather than 3p in this case.0
