Bank Holiday conundrum

I have a lloyds bank vantage current account and i am paid on the 1st of the month, the account pays interest monthly as long as you deposit a minimum of a £1000 per month.

My May salary was paid in advance on 28th April because of the bank Holidays as a result of this I did not deposit £1000 in the month of May and the bank did not pay any interest for this period.

I have argued the case with the bank as this was not my doing and they have concecded the point and have agreed to pay the interest on this occasion.

If any one else in in this situation where they are paid on the 1st of the month be aware of the bank Holiday conundrum and if possible take steps to ensure you have deposited sufficient money each month, this has the potential for happening 2/3 times a year:A
