Manky Meat-Whats Morrisons Policy?

Not sure about Morrisons, I bought a double pack of chickens in Iceland and we ate one but when I went to cook the other the following day it had gone off. I called the store and they said throw it away and come in and we'll refund you the full price - not half, even though we'd eaten one and it had been fine. They didn't even want to see the receipt.

In ASDA I bought a reduced Polish cheese bread and when I opened it I noticed the whole inside was covered in mold spots, took it back and they only refunded the cost - but when we bought a £2 tray of 12 doughnuts that tasted of burned plastic, I took those back and the bakery manager came to inspect them, there were 7 of the 12 left, we'd all had a bite or so of the others and thrown them away, and he gave me anything from the bakery I wanted of the same value and a £3 gift card.

Seems to be dependent on who you get as to what they do. Hold out for a manager.

My OH used to work for morrisons do I've asked him and this is what he said...

If you don't have a receipt they will replace it with goods to the value that the meat scans in at when you return it (not what you say you paid for it, if there is a difference.)
