When I was a child at school I remember having pink coconut cake. It was spongy, sticky, and sprinkled with coconut; it came out as a tray bake cut into squares. I think it may have used raspberry jam.
Any idea what it was please? I've suddenly remembered it, so have to bake it!
Gosh! That's stirred old memories! We used to have it at school with pink custard, and chocolate concrete with chocolate custard (they called it chocolate sauce, but we weren't fooled).
