just took load of scrap to scrappy, just curious what the genral rate is
i got £151 for 0.84 ton (iron) & £45 for 0.056 ton (alloy)
it was all clean.i was surprised/pleased with alloy but thought the iron might of been worth a bit more.
so im curious if this is a fair price,if so i will use them again.

I took some in yesterday and it was priced at £150/tonne (light iron). Heavy iron is a bit more (£170/tonne). You got £180/tonne, so thats a good price.
When you say alloy, I assume you mean aluminium. You got priced at £800 / tonne, so that is a fair price.
There is very little in price between scrap dealers as they are all buying from and selling to the same people so the price is constant.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
