like many others coming to the end of various 'deals', i've just taken the plunge & switched to the EDF Fixed Saver V2 until Sept 2012. have been Npower for years as always cheapest for our area, they're fine as long as you don't have any queries! their CS is the worst i've ever encountered, it took 18 months to get our bills correct a few years ago.

so Npower SOL 18 ending 30.06.11, was £88 month dual fuel & would increase to £107 on their Go Save tariff. comparison sites were showing Scottish Power would be cheapest at the moment on their Direct tariff @ £94 p/mth, but it's a variable rate. checked for fixed rates & EDF were best @ £103 p/mth.

we'll see! at least i don't have to faff around with it all again until Sept 2012...
