Cracking tiles in newly renovated bathroom?

Hi Folks,
We had a house completely renovated this time last year. Several of the walls were stripped right back to the brick and brand new plaster was put on. In the bathroom on the wall by the bath (which also has a window) we tiled from the bath up to the ceiling. I looked the other day and there is a crack now going up from the top right hand corner of the window up to the ceiling. It has cracked three tiles. Tiles are just bog standard homebase rectangular tiles but the tiler seemed to have done a good job and came highly recommended.
Any ideas? Can I have just 3 tiles replaced or is it going to be a mighty pain in the butt. I'm slightly concerned that this has happened just 9 or so months on from the tiling being complete but I do understand we have to make some allowances as it was a newly plastered wall and the house had not been heated for 4 years.
Thanks,
BatCat

From the corner of the window it sounds like a stress fracture from movement in the house. Was there any problem in there before you renovated?

Have you done any major work elsewhere?

Knocked any walls through and put in steels or anything like that??

Check the wall behind when you replace the tiles.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the replies!
Yes, we changed the roof on the loft conversion from a flat roof to a peaked roof. We had steel put in and it was all throroughly checked by a structural engineer and building control.
So it could be a bit of settlement from that?
    Nothing bad.... I hope?
    Thanks,

Some minor settlement is almost inevitable after structural work.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
