Pet Insurance rise.

After having the perfect cover through HSBC, they then withdrew the product and after much research I went with Axa, £8.62 a month.
Got the renewal quote yesterday and has jumped to £10.23 a month. I have no problems paying for good insurance but with HSBC the rise used to be just pennies.
I also got a new axa quote online, same details, and it came out at £7.97 a month.
Going to write and see if they will offer me a better price, anyone done this successfully?
It was such a hassle finding a new insurer, that I really don't want to go through all that again. But, not happy with the rise I have to say!

I had the same problem with my dogs insurance from Homebase last year, it leapt up in price and so I ended up shopping around. It is a pain but I did manage a better deal with John Lewis in the end. If you sit down for an hour online you can get quite a few quotes to compare so althought is a nuisance it may save you a bit of money in the long run.2013: Interflora Vouchers, Christmas Decorations, NNUK goody bag, thermos flask, macwet gloves0
