I was having a look around for the cheapest way to print my digital photos onto canvas and noticed tesco has a photo site. They are running a half price offer at the moment so under £20. Think its only on for a few days.

Do you print them at home?

I've just checked and tescos photo centre print it for you. It is a proper 30x40cm canvas. It can be delivered for a charge or you can pick it up from store free. This looks like the best deal around.0

When the Tesco offer closes, these have competetive pricing and put the prints on to a box frame

I would advise you to AVOID Tesco canvass prints at all costs.
My wife and I married in April and had a friend do our photos for us as she didnt want cash, so the gift we gave her was still far less money than using a pro (she has done all her photography qualifications etc...)
We saw the canvass deals in our local Tesco store, and went in, and despite an interfering member of staff managed to order the ones we kind of wanted (some of our images didnt fit everything on...?)
I went back to pick up on the following day, and a different member of staff was manning the photo section, and as she got my 5 canvasses (paid £90 for them) out of cupboard she was like "oh no... whats happened here..?" The prints themselves looked nice, but the canvass wasnt stuck down to the frame properly and was coming away from it. one of the prints, the main one of just my wife and i had a scratch accross my wife's face! She got a manager up straight away and I advised that they looked a mess and they offered to redo the canvasses for me.
I have had canvass prints done before, but admittedly i went to Jessops and paid a lot more for them. My wife got a print she had from Jessops off the wall and we realised that jessops wrap the print around the back of the frame, and it is then secure by extra pieces of wood on the inside of the frame that are screwed in. Tesco simply wrap the canvass onto the side of the frame and try and stick it down.
So the following night i returned to Tesco to see what these canvass prints were like. again, they were coming unstuck, and on the odd print where it was stuck down, there wasnt a straight cut, so you could see the wood frame on the side of the print, and the edge of the canvass was frayed and messy. We refused the canvasses and got our money back.
I then went on the Jessops website and ordered through there. The original photos that didnt fit on the Tesco's canvasses we were able to fit on Jessops prints, and although it cost twice as much, we received canvasses of exceptional quality...0 -
I ordered 2 canvases from Tescophoto.com at the end of March and they were great; no problems at all. The canvas was properly stretched and secured and the print quality was really good. They took about a week so it sounds like the in-store service is possibly different.
When ordering online I did get the impression that someone else was running the site on behalf of Tesco (needed to create a new login I remember - couldn't log in with the same account as on Tesco.com / Tesco Direct) - there were other pointers as well, although can't see anything in the T&C's. When dispatched, the sender on the DHL dispatch email was listed as "Tesco C/O King And McGaw" which would suggest the same.
Either way, no complaints at all from me!0 -

It was probably just the process in store for me then, the offers we bought under were not available online...0
