Specsavers and maybe others?

My father was telling me that he had a few problems with his bi-focals and had been taking them back to Specsavers on and off for what he thought was a few months. It was actually 14 months.

The crux is that when he said he was fed up with the glasses and had been visiting the shop to have them adjusted on a regular basis they stated that they only had a record of one visit. They stated that they only record complaints and not adjustments. IMO this is wrong.

If you have a problem with your glasses and take them back to Ssavers make sure that they log your visit on your records every time. If they refuse then make it a complaint which they have to log.

Has anyone else come across this with Ssavers or any other focal retailers or is it just a local issue?
