Any way to download Iplayer shows for iphone?

Commuting is boring, and I spend 2 hours a day on a train.
Is there any way of getting the iplayer shows on my iphone? obviously would need to download them and perhaps convert them with Handbrake or something similar, but cant seem to figure out how to download them..
Any assistance?

Have a look at get_iplayer... That should do it.0

Is there not a download option on most of the programmes? One for windows player and another option for portable media players?
It's just under the programme description, download it somewhere and then convert with the relevant software. Not knowing much about the iphone I can't suggest which software.
Just make sure you start it in windows media player 1st to obtain the digital rights thingy before converting.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
