Catowen and Finc, your cakes are lovely. I'm struggleing with idea's now, so gonna do my last (and biggest) with glazed fruit as it's not even marzipanned yet!
Misscutiepie - that wedding cake is lovely. I have to confess that I go to a Cake Decorating evening class and hope to start a home business very soon. I do sell cakes occassionally to friends and family. The cake boxes I bought at a cake show, although any good cake shop should sell them. Or you can try online store i.e cakecraftshop.co.uk and Squires Kitche, also designacake.co.uk
A tip for anyone wanting to make christmas tree's from icing or marzipan. Roll the icing/marzipan into a cone shape and get a pair of scissor, snip at the icing to create branches i.e.
Theirs also worksheet on how to make roses out of icing on my photobucket link - http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/leniloo/cakes/
