I'm not sure but I think you can get small handheld steam cleaners for the oven and hob, if necessary.

The clause states that items that might have been soiled should be professionally cleaned.
It is conditional and does not imply that the property should be returned in a better condition. Thus a court might have no problem with it provided that LL tries to enforce it reasonably.
You miss the point. If there is no proof that the items were provided in a "professionally cleaned" state at the start of the tenancy then the T *is* effectively being asked to return items in a better condition.

Yes , T should clean items which have become "soiled" during the tenancy ( the "conditional bit) but a flat requirement for such cleaning to be undertaken by a professional is unlikely to be upheld Try the phrase "cleaned to the same standard as that in which the items were provided to the T at the start of the tenancy" or "cleaned to a professional standard"

I would also ignore the comment about a cleaning requirement for any curtains etc which had been stored for the duration of the tenancy. If they were clean before storage and they've been stored properly they simply need an airing before being replaced.

More LLs should perhaps aim to use washable curtains for their rental properties:makes life so much simpler.

Good polish (pledge etc) will remove most marks from walls,
perhaps not recommended for matt-painted walls
Curtains, bedding etc, you could remove and have professionally cleaned, leaving them in the packaging for the landlord to hang themselves, or leave for the next tenant.
Leave the curtains in the packaging and you'll probably be charged by the LA/LL for someone to come in and rehang them..........;)
