I've just logged on to my Tesco credit card account & there's no message about a service outage on 17th - 20th June.

Same here. I logged in and actually spoke to them yesterday and there was no mention of this in either instance.
Are you sure there isn't something "nasty" on your p.c. Milarky?
If I received that message I'd treat it as suspicious until contacting Tesco Finance for confirmation before giving out any security information.

For Tesco Credit Card customers
If you manage your Tesco Credit Card online, and normally login using your customer number, you'll need to change the way you login to gain access:

1. Visit tescobank.com
2. Select Credit Card from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen
3. Click Login
4. Login using your Tesco Credit Card Online username, PIN and password

If you don't already have a username, PIN and password, you should:

1. Visit tescobank.com
2. Select Credit Card from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen
3. Click Register to create an account

Have you not been inundated with mailings (my recycling box is overflowing :eek:) telling you what is going on ?

I logged on to the Tesco site to check my balance & then I decided read this thread again. I have been back on to the Tesco credit card part of their site to look for the message & it's not there. It's strange that some people have got the message & others havn't.

no, no emails

but I have had two letters explaining the changes occuring to the website; the change in security arrangements and the change in sort code

however they only refer to changes being made on 20June... in fact the last letter refers to the 20th June no less than 10 times

but no mention of the savings acccounts being unavailable for 17th to the 20th

in the event it makes no difference to me personally as I cleared out my saving a/c earlier in the week but in case there were problems with the conversion

Only supposition, but...

I think perhaps there are two sites: one for customers who have savings accounts *and* credit-cards and one for credit-cards only. To log into the credit-card-only site, you don't need a Tesco customer number, and there is no mention of the changes on this site.

I have a Tesco savings account and have received a lot of information about the changes through the post - another family member has only a credit-card, and has received nothing at all about any changes.

So it looks to me that it's either a separate site which is not going to be changed, or a separate site which will be changed at a later date.
