Stoves Electric Double Oven - Fan oven not working

I have just bought a house that has an inbuilt double oven.

The top 'conventional' oven and grill part is working fine. The bottom fan oven however doesn't seem to be doing anything at all.

When I switch it on it doesn't heat up, the fan doesn't move and the light doesn't come on. It appears to be completely kaput.

Any suggestions as to why everything in the bottom oven would not be working? I can understand one thing going but all of them?

Hi, I had a similar problem with my oven after a power cut. I just couldn't get the oven to switch on and then I realised the power cut had set the timer to zero and when I reset the timer to the correct time I could switch it on and use it as normal. I hope this is the same for you. Good luck !

The only thing not working now is the light which I expect should just be an easy fix with a new bulb.
