received an offer from barclays

hi everyone back in march/april i started a claim with barclays for £2300 ( inc 8% interest) going with the human argument. today i recieved a letter saying that they wont refund the charges as people in financial hardship do not shop in jjb ect ! i accept this however 90% of my money was going to bills and debts.
they did add that they would refund £308 of charges that incured after i stopped using the account,( but only to pay towards the said account which is being dealt with by a DMP) so today i called them and politley declined the offer while asking them to re asses the case.

The question is will i get anywhere with them, or should i have accepted the offer? ive been looking but there are not many success cases latley ?!?

there are no success cases nowadays. Just goodwill payments.

I doubt you will get anywhere. As they have pointed out it doesn't sound like you were in financial hardship - 90% on bills and debts would leave you 10% left over which people in actual financial hardship wouldn't have. Am actually quite surprised they have offered anything in the circumstances as they have no obligation to.
