Its telling me that virus scan is disabled and when i press enable nothing happens.
Plus Mcafee icon in a tray remains black but continues to say Mcafee activesheild is computer protecting my computer.
I have tried to reinstalled but still problems remains.
I don't understand, what shall i do?

Ditch Mcafee and get Avast or AVG for free then enjoy the increased speed of your PC0

ive had AVG free ed. no problems, was given McAfee 2006, WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
it wont update, it wont allow me to open screens, it locks the computer, it knocks me off the interenet...
ditched it and gone back to AVG free and all running smoothly again
