Broadband - West London

Hi, I am looking at different broadband packages and wondered if anyone has used BT's Infinity Package with fibre optics, if so is it really six times faster than their normal package?

Thanks

P

I'm in East London, not West but...

Pre-Infinity (wasn't with BT but that's irrelevant): over the (probably) dodgy old copper wire, a couple of miles away from a congested exchange(30,000 + lines): max speed suported by my line was 500Kpbs

Post Infinity: a few hundred years - (maybe 400? as the crow flies) from the shiny new cabinet so not can't get full Infinity speed but: constant 25Mpbs... happy bunny :D:D:D

Edit: it all depends on what speed you're getting now (i.e how far from exchange and how good/bad the wiring is) and how far you are from the Infinity cabinet...

Thanks V, that all makes sense, they say it would be six times faster, so will give it a go, and post a update on here in month or so X
