Scottish Power price increases August 2011

Scottish Power have announced price increases of 19% for electricity of 10% and gas of 19%.
I have had an email from with my new prices as follows-( I am on Online Dual fuel Monthly Direct Debit with Economy 7 electricity)
Electricity First 225Kwh/Qtr +26.44%
Remaining Day units +44.71%
Night units +56.71%
Gas First 670Kwh/Qtr +55%
Remaining units + 24.49%

Their publicity would appear to be completely misleading.
Is my maths right?

Yep... They are being kind by not screwing the people that they've been screwing for years on standard tariffs too much... It's mainly the ones who were savvy enough to switch previously that are being stuffed the most! (alledgedly )

Really? Scottish power are putting gas and electric up? I must try to keep up with whats happening a bit more..
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
