cd changer wiring help
hi any help or advice please
bought a audi a4 2000 model which has wiring for cd changer in boot.the thing is the wire has been cut so there is no plug just 8 to 10 different coloured leads. the same with the cd changer which has 8 wires. how to i connect them up? as in which wire goes to which.

If the changer is not the correct changer for the car it will not work so if there is a different number of wires in the cable it is the wrong one.0

Do you mean the original radio cassette and the original cd changer are still there? if so I'd just replace the whole wire. Its not a big job and not expensive. Google "connects 2" and they should do a replacement wire to fit. Thats if you dont want to go the dealer route.
If you're trying to connect the original radio cassette to a cd changer you've bought down the pub that's different to the original then I wouldn't bother.
