In Credit on Credit Card?
Comments
-
I often pay more than I owe when my CC bill comes in but it just goes on as a payment and reduces the next months payment, for example if my bill was £235.90 I would round it up to £250 and the £14.10 would be part payment on the next purchase. I can't see any credit card provider refusing to accept a credit.

Not for £14, but they will if it's a large amount.
They have regulatory obligations wrt money laudering and there are stiff penalties if they don't enforce it.
They might have an amount set on their system so anything small is ignored.
But large amounts like the OP is proposing will flag up on their system,
The money laundering is to prevent drug dealers, terrorists etc. and there are stiff penalties, so they will enforce it for large amounts.
A few quid is neither her nor there.0
