Have you tried Sykes Cottages? They're really good and have a variety of places which accept dogs (two cottage owners have even accepted my cat, although it caused quite a lot of hilarity, as apparently taking your cat on holiday is not normal!! :-))
The cottages usually are reasonably priced.

mother iveys ..... near st merryn in cornwall lovelly quiet clean easy access private beach great mixed site of caravans camping pitches ...very clean very quiet very near the beach dog friendly ... was there last week easy reach too padstow(rick stiens fish and chip bar was a bit naff) newquay onsite shop wasnt pricey ,,, would recommend taking just about everything with you .... took us 5hr.45min form cheshire lancashire border ; left at 3 on morning and avoided most traffic ; kids slept in the car most of the way

lol, i would love to take my cat on holiday, she would love it, she's very affectionate and loves to drool on new people....
