Lost parcel claim - question about receipt to send

I posted 30 items at the P.O. in one go.
I refunded a buyer for one parcel which got lost and am about to fill out the claim form.
Now which receipt do I send? As i paid by card I have the one with all transactions on it, and also the individual ones (although I can't say which receipt went with which parcel).

Doesn't your post office write the postcode & house number on each receipt? I think that RM would need you to prove that you had actually sent to the recipient.
Were they parcels, as in parcel post if so they will have the postcode printed on the COP.

well it was the first time that I had left a bag of parcels at the P.O. as I had so many. They offered to take them in the morning at the local P.O. and I just had to pop in and pay in the evening.
I left instructions and asked for the postcode to be written on the receipts but this was not done...
I can work out which receipt it was by weight but there were about 7 in that band, they were just regular parcels.

Each receipt just has a session I.D. though, nothing to link them to a particular parcel so should be ok to send one of them in, do i send in the big one with all the transactions as well?

I think that you would need to send in just the individual one. Parcel post will have the postcode on it, if it went parcel post.
If they went letter then the PO should have written the postcode on. It's a shame if your PO didn't do that as it really is so much better for everyone if you get a good one where you can leave everything & collect receipts later.

Just pick one that is near enough and write the house number and postcode on it.
That should be good enough, its not our fault the PO forgot to put it on there

My post office don't usaully write on the postcodes, I do it myself at the counter or just write what the item is on the back if it's only a couple.

If I have alot of packages, I number them in the left hand corner then number the receipts and write the postcode / item on when I get home. It saves alot if time , stops a queue from forming and keeps the staff happy!
