Good Quality Electric Knife - Where to Buy?

Options
Hi Folks

We had an electric knife, bought many moons ago as a gift when we first set up home, it was one of those thing we never really appreciated until it gave up the ghost not too long ago.

Try as we might we do not seem to be able to find a decent quality replacement, all the ones we have found so far seem to have blades made of some sort of rubber pretending to be metal as they flex and move so much when in use the results are useless either that or they just do not cut properly.

We bake a lot of our own bread and need one for that, in addition my other half has a wrist problem and struggles to use the conventional knives we own on meat joints and stuff.

So I am laying a challenge at your feet now people, point me in the right direction please.

Take care and merry christmas!

Thanks for that but that is one of the cheap and nasty style ones we have already experienced I am afraid.
